As a result of a study undertaken by the five members of the Warren-Morris Council of Governments (the Town of Hackettstown, Borough of Washington Township of Mansfield and Township of Washington), Warren County has agreed to enter into a shared service arrangement for document management. The Warren-Morris Council of Governments has been awarded non-profit status from the IRS. As a non-profit entity the council can now apply for a regional coordination grant from the state of NJ to further its shared service efforts. 2009 Officers ChosenFriday January 30, 2009 9:44 AM
At it's January 29 meeting, the Warren-Morris Council of Governments unanimously elected the following officers: President, Paul Wallace, Hackettstown Councilman; Vice-President, George Baldwin, Mansfield Committeeman; Secretary, John Cummins, Independence Committeeman;
